The CDC states “routine cleaning and disinfection procedures (e.g., using cleaners and water to pre- clean surfaces prior to applying an EPA-registered, hospital-grade disinfectant to frequently touched surfaces or
objects for appropriate contact times as indicated on the product’s label) are appropriate for 2019-nCoV in healthcare settings.” ICP ERG disinfectants are EPA-registered hospital-grade disinfectants, while they have not been tested against 2019-nCoV specifically (because it is a novel strain), they have demonstrated effectiveness against several similar enveloped viruses such as: Influenza A virus, H1N1 virus, Avian (H3N2) virus, HIV Type 1 and more.
Coronavirus (COVID-19) is a large family of viruses that cause illnesses ranging from the common cold to more severe diseases such as Middle East Respiratory Syndrome (MERS) and Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS).

Cleaning Efficacy Testing Services
We work with third party labs that can provide cleaning efficacy testing services to demonstrate that the decontaminated surface has been effectively cleaned and is free of bacteria or fungi. While this is not a direct test for viruses, if the chemicals used in the cleaning are effective against viruses, then the test indirectly indicates that the surface was properly decontaminated.
